¡Bienvenido a Español dos! Welcome to Spanish 2!

Yo soy Sr. Osorio and I will be your Spanish teacher for this 2020-21 school year.
As you know we will be starting the school year online which is a bit different than what we are all used to... just know that I am always here to help you... all you need to do is ask. Hopefully we will be transitioning to in school classes at some point, but until then lets learn some more Español!

There are several items I would like to go over with you in regards to this course and the technology you will be using. I created a bullet list for an easier read.

**** We will have an initial Zoom meeting to go over most of the information listed below. The meeting will be recorded and available for you to access at anytime.

Main Online Class- We will be using Canvas as our main online platform. Here you will find all of your lessons, check-in for attendance, quizzes/exams, voice recorded assignments, announcements I have posted, access to previous in class Zoom sessions, and grades.
External resources - We will also be using Quizlet, Youtube videos as well as various other forms of external resources. Any work that needs to be completed in one of these platforms will be assigned to you in Canvas.
Typical class day - First we will all log in to our class Zoom meeting on the specified day and times you have this class. Zoom meetings will always start at the beginning of class... (Ex: your class starts at 8:05am, then you need to be logged in by 8:05am). Zoom meeting will last around 30 minutes or more depending on the topic and class flow. The remaining time will be dedicated to an in class assignment and to be turned in by the end of class (Similar to having an in class lesson then having work to complete and turn in before the bell rings ' quiz, exam, worksheet, etc...'). During this time I will be available to help you complete your work.
